On the site visit of “Siyatha Uyana Wetland Park” at Gampaha, I have gained the knowledge about how the constructions are going on during excavation, compaction, slope stabilization, creating embankments & etc. It was a great opportunity to experience how to measure the depth and width of a large water body and how to get the measurements using Tripod. Landscape Architect; Mr. Saminda Abeywickrama and the Technical Officer; Mr. Hasitha Prasanga were the once who supported us to get these experiences about Land Surveys
